Awareness on First Aid and CPR Training

The 1-day Awareness on First-Aid and CPR Training will provide essential knowledge and skills in basic life support skills such as CPR, dealing with different types of wounds and bleeding as well as techniques on dressing and bandaging wounds. The training is customized for participants who do not wish to participate in a competency program as no assessment conducted for this training. A mock-drill is included in this program to increase the participant’s understanding in managing an accident scene. 

Course Objectives

At the end of this training, participants will be able to: 

  • Assess an emergency situation and describe the priorities in emergency planning 
  • Describe the correct procedure on summoning assistance including EMS (Ambulance Service) 
  • Demonstrate a basic understanding of emergency action principles (DR. CAB) 
  • Demonstrate knowledge and practice of basic life support skills including CPR and Choking 
  • Demonstrate on how to deal with bleeding and wounds
