1. E-waste collection program

It is organized all over Malaysia and is still being held. The purpose is to educate and inspire public to dispose their electrical and electronic wastes accordingly without polluting the environment

2. Avoid Single Use Plastic Campaign

Another initiative by government to reduce usage of plastic bag as it negatively impacts the environment. Do you know that only nine percent of nine billion tonnes of plastic produced globally were recycled? We can play our roles by bringing our own grocery bag instead of opting for plastic bag.

3. Greening the Earth and Tree Planting Campaign

Additional initiative to raise public awareness in keeping the earth green. Do you know what can we do? We can play our part in conserving the environment by planting more trees.

4. River Preservation through the National River Trail Program

It is to encourage local communities and stakeholders in preventing pollution of rivers in Malaysia. Among pioneer of the program is Pengkalan Batu River Trail in Kubang Kerian. Ministry of Environment and Water (KASA) targets to build 10,000 km of trails by 2030.

What is your contribution in conserving the environment? Have you contribute to any of these signature events? Start bringing our own grocery bag and say NO to plastic bag is the least that we can do. We might as well dispose old handphone appropriately. Or, start planting tree in our small backyard. Remember, environment is our shared responsibility.
